"I'd rather be outdoors ..."

I try to spend most of my time taking pictures of the world around me. I have spent thousands of hours since 2004 taking pictures of the wildlife, flora and fungal inhabitants of Beaman Park near Nashville, Tennessee.

Since my retirement in 2007, I have also been able to spend a lot of time outdoors in places like, Ecuador, Thailand, British Columbia and Belize, among other locations, taking pictures and hiking through some of the most beautiful places on earth. I feel very fortunate to have these opportunities to see other lands and other cultures.
